We want to evoke the romance of the 90s era, a time when using an analog camera was as common as using a smartphone today—almost everyone had one. We deliberately chose the title JAKARTA 1997 to serve as a reminder of the ‘present moment’, which we often overlook. In reality, we are never truly ‘present’ in a moment in a literal sense, as only the past and future exist.

This event is a celebration of the present moment, bringing together the Bersoreria community—family, friends, and collaborators—to experience the essence of analog photography.

The highlight of the event will be the official showcase and launch of our latest film product Jakarta 1997, featuring a curated exhibition of photographic works by our invited collaborators. Attendees will also have the exclusive opportunity to purchase limited-edition merchandise from the collaboration between Bersoreria x CCC (Canvas Confluence Collective).
