Helvi is one of the driving force behind the development of independent music in Bandung. Apart from managing Puppen at a time when independent music was still looked down upon, Helvi also created the record label and distro Reverse with his friends (FFWD).
Helvi’s interest in music led him to establish the independent record label FFWD Records which release Mocca, Homogenic, Polyester Embassy, Heals, The Sigit & Teenage Death Star. He also the guitarist of Teenage Death Star. It doesn’t stop there, Helvi also has an interest in photography and design, where he was a PAS Band photographer, made the Puppen album cover and also designed the Burgerkill cover.
