Majored in and graduated from architecture UNPAR, yet she decided to pursue her passion in art. Since 2008, using both traditional and digital tools, she has been compiling an impressive illustration portfolio and gained experience in various fields such as fashion, music, publishing, branding, interior design, and many more.
From 2014 to 2022, Ykha Co-founded and served as the Head of Prints Design for her clothing label, DIBBA (@dibbaofficial). The brand is known for its unique, vibrant, and bold prints.
Her artistic journey took a pivotal turn when she began drawing her beloved pet, Babbot. It reignited her love for cartoons and comics, leading to a transformation in her illustration style. Ykha blends her inner-child nostalgia and chaotic mind into a vibrant universe inhabited by her ever-growing cast of playful characters that continue to bring joy to people of all ages. Her work can been seen in published books, exhibitions, Babbot merchandise (@babbot_), and also collaborations with major local and global brands such as Vans, Lacoste, Digimap, Kura Kura Beer, COACH, Samsung, and so on.
With each step in her creative journey, Ykha evolves her work, driven by the desire to make people smile and feel like happy kids.
